Undergraduate Students Who Are Awarded Scholarship Announced
Investing in the future of the agricultural sector with its pioneering role in social responsibility, GÜBRETAŞ grants non-refundable education scholarships to successful children of farmers studying in agricultural faculties. As a result of evaluations made by GÜBRETAŞ Scholarship Commission within the scope of the social responsibility project, which also witnessed a huge number of applications this year, the names of the undergraduate students, registered in the Faculty of Agriculture, whom have been awarded the GÜBRETAŞ Education Scholarship this year, were also determined.
Aiming to support qualified manpower in the agricultural sector, GÜBRETAŞ has been providing scholarships to successful agriculture faculty students since 2007. The scope of the GÜBRETAŞ Scholarship has been expanded and scholarships have been awarded to undergraduate students as well as to a number of PhD and MS students since last year.
As a result of the evaluations made by GÜBRETAŞ Scholarship Commission this year, the names of the students of the GRADUATE (Master of Science and Doctorate with Thesis) students who have been entitled to receive GÜBRETAŞ Scholarship as of 2018-2019 academic year were announced on January 9-10. As of this year, the names of the undergraduate students registered in the Faculty of Agriculture, who were entitled to receive a GÜBRETAŞ Scholarship for Education, were also determined.
Undergraduate students in the main list are required to deliver the necessary documents by January 25, 2018. Those students who failed to complete their papers or make false statements will be eliminated and those students registered in the reserve list in the same university will be awarded the scholarship. Undergraduate students will continue to receive scholarships for 4 years should they meet the success criteria.
Within the scope of GÜBRETAŞ Education Scholarship where being a child of a farmer and enrolling for the first time to one of the departments of Horticulture, Agricultural Structures and Irrigation, Plant Protection, Field Crops, Soil Science and Plant Nutrition are required, undergraduate students will receive TRY 300, graduate students TRY 600 and PhD students TRY 900 during the 9-month period between October-June in 2018-2019 academic year.
The main and reserve list of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students who are eligible for GÜBRETAŞ Scholarship and the announcement regarding the criteria in this field are given below.

PLEASE NOTE: Students in the reserve list are not required to submit any papers for now. In case of elimination from the scholarship, the students in the reserve list will be informed that they have won the scholarship and their documents will be requested.
LOSS, SUSPENSION AND DISCONTINUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP RIGHT
1) Those students who are found to provide incomplete or false statements in their application form lose their right to scholarship. If this right exists, it will be transferred to the student in the reserve list.
2) After the scholarship is awarded, those awarded students who are found to have incomplete and false statements in their application and the students who are suspected of being in contact with terrorist organizations and who do not have a clean criminal record will be required to repay the amounts paid until that period. (We also reserve the right to apply for legal remedies if necessary.)
3) Scholarship is terminated if the “Student Certificate” dated October and the “academic record” of the previous year is not submitted to the company at the beginning of each academic year,
4) In case of failure in more than 3 courses within a year, the scholarship is cancelled.
5) In case of repetition, the scholarship is cancelled,
6) If the student fails due to health reasons, the Commission will then decide on the continuity of the scholarship.
7) In case of registration freezing, the scholarship will be suspended if the reason is notified and the scholarship will continue once the student continues to study after freezing.
8) Scholarships for students who have moved to another department of the University other than the Faculty of Agriculture or to another department of the Faculty of Agriculture that are not included in the scholarship application conditions are cancelled.
9) The scholarship payment of those students who declares to waive from the scholarship is stopped.
NOTE: Those students in the main list who are eligible for Undergraduate Scholarships must submit the above-mentioned documents in full to be delivered the address given below on January 25, 2019 at the latest.
In case the documents are not submitted at the requested time, or they are incomplete or incorrectly reported, the scholarship right will be transferred to the student in the reserve list.

LOSS, SUSPENSION AND DISCONTINUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP RIGHT
1) Those students who are found to provide incomplete or false statements in their application form lose their right to scholarship. If this right exists, it will be transferred to the student in the reserve list.
2) After the scholarship is awarded, those awarded students who are found to have incomplete and false statements in their application and the students who are suspected of being in contact with terrorist organizations and who do not have a clean criminal record will be required to repay the amounts paid until that period. (We also reserve the right to apply for legal remedies if necessary.)
3) Scholarship is terminated if the “Student Certificate” dated October and the“ academic record” of the previous year is not submitted to the company at the beginning of each academic year.
4) In case of failure in more than 3 courses within a year, the scholarship is cancelled.

7) In case of registration freezing, the scholarship will be suspended if the reason is notified and the scholarship will continue once the student continues to study after freezing.
8) Scholarships for students who have moved to another department of the University other than the Faculty of Agriculture or to another department of the Faculty of Agriculture that are not included in the scholarship application conditions are cancelled.
9) The scholarship payment of those students who declares to waive from the scholarship is stopped.
NOTE: Those students in the main list who are eligible for Master’s and Doctoral Scholarships with thesis must submit the above-mentioned documents in full to be delivered the address given below on January 18, 2019 at the latest.
