By dialling the (0216) 468 51 51 number, farmers all over Turkey could get instant answers to questions about their agricultural production from GÜBRETAS expert agricultural engineers.
AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS WILL SUPPORT THE FARMER BY PHONE
| GÜBRETAŞ is gradually expanding its consultancy services to farmers in line with its mission of expanding conscious agricultural production. After field studies, internet and mobile applications, GÜBRETAŞ has now started consultancy services with live phone connection. The company’s expert agricultural engineers are able to provide instant information on plant nutrition and protection to farmers calling GÜBRETAŞ hotline (0216) 468 51 51.
Farmers looking for the GÜBRETAŞ Support Line are directed to the agricultural engineers in their regions by the operator after specifying the province information. In this way, farmers can call the line from the field, vineyard or garden and instantly have the opportunity to solve agricultural production problems, sharing and getting information about products and services. The hotline will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week with the help of a live advisor,while a voice mail will be available outside these specified hour and during weekend. |
CHAIRMAN AYHAN KARAYAMA: “CONTINUOUS SUPPORT TO FARMERS”
General Manager of Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and GÜBRETAŞ Chairman of the Board of Directors Ayhan Karayama suggests they have adopted increasing social productivity and quality in agricultural production as a social responsibility and therefore they support farmers to make agricultural production consciously. Stating GÜBRETAŞ holds a training meeting for about 1500 farmers all across Turkey every year, Karayama says, “in these meetings, our expert agricultural engineers inform our farmers on plant breeding, feeding and preservation techniques. In addition to face-to-face and printed communication, we communicate with our farmers over the internet and mobile and provide consultation them through these channels ”
Ayhan Karayama also explains the service provided to the farmers has been moved to a different stage thanks to the newly introduced GÜBRETAŞ Support Line. “Finally, we added live telephone connection to our communication channels. Our farmers will be able to request information from the field by calling this line from their garden. In this way, we provide all kinds of support to our farmers to make agricultural production conscious and to produce high yield and high quality crops. ”
Karayama also points out there were some statements that would result in yield and quality losses in agricultural production upon the prohibition of nitrate fertilizers, and that such a situation was certainly not the case. Karayama also states farmers can get support from GÜBRETAŞ Support Line regarding the use of nitrogenous fertilizers if they need it and that the consumption of nitrate fertilizers in agriculture is at a minimum level and that plants can be fed with alternative nitrogen fertilizers, especially with urea and ammonium sulfate.
