GÜBRETAŞ included in BIST-30 index
GÜBRETAŞ’ shares traded in Borsa Istanbul with the GUBRF code will be included to the BIST-30 index by October 1, 2020.
Turkey’s first and leading company in plant nutrition sector GÜBRETAŞ’ operational and financial success in recent years reflected to its stock exchange performance in Istanbul. As a result GÜBRETAŞ was included in the BIST-30 index was created to measure the joint performance of first 30 companies with the highest trading volume and market value traded in Borsa Istanbul.
Giving his statement about the subject General Manager İbrahim Yumaklı said, “GÜBRETAŞ has maintained its pioneering role in agricultural sector with its productivity-enhancing products, sample services and important facility investments for years, was also one the very first companies to be offered to the public in İstanbul Stock Exchange on January 3, 1986. With this aspect, we are one of the important rings of the financial sector as well as the agriculture”.
İbrahim Yumaklı also said “main shareholder of GÜBRETAŞ is Turkey’s largest farmer family Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives while our 25% stocks share offered to the public. In this respect, we define ourselves as “100% people’s company”. The reflection of operational and financial success of our company on these stocks traded in İstanbul Stock Exchange is pleasing for our financial stakeholders.
